KARACHI, Oct 22: TRG Pakistan Limited announced at the Karachi Stock Exchange on Monday that the Resource Group International Limited had sold substantially all the assets of its subsidiary, Central Voice, LLC, which was expected to generate $1.75 million (Rs105.70 million).

The Resource Group was stated to be a global business process outsourcing (BPO) company providing equity capital, outsourcing services and technology solutions worldwide. Central Voice, LLC, is a provider of telephone answering services headquartered in Ocean, New Jersey.

“The divestiture of Central Voice is consistent with TRG’s focus on servicing enterprise and Fortune 1,000 customers globally,” the TRG Pakistan notice to the KSE stated. It said that to support its strategy of continued growth, TRG intends to deploy the proceeds from this sale towards business development and acquisition opportunities. The assets of Central Voice were purchased by Endicott Comm Inc. (Endicott). “TRG will continue to provide call centre services to Endicott from its locations in Pakistan”, the announcement concluded.
